How does it work?
When you press the yellow button, you will be prompted to download a
browser plug-in for the chat session. It will take less than a minute
to download and install the plug-in. Then you will be able to chat in
real-time with your Support Representative. He will ask your permission
to view your screen. If you agree, then he will be able to view your
screen to help you with your problem or question. At no time can the
Representative control your computer or access your files. This is a
"view-only" capability that makes it easier to solve problems and
answer questions for you.
What are the system requirements?
The browser plug-in is available for computers that are Pentium-class
PC running Windows XP, 2003, 2008, 2012, Windows 7/8/8.1/10 and with a minimum
of 56Kbs bandwidth.
Is it true that my support representative can
see everything on my screen?
Yes. But before your support representative views your screen, he will
first ask your permission and request that you close all documents
containing private or confidential information. Let's say you need help
with the Web Capture functionality. Rather than trying to explain the
situation on the phone, you can show your Support Representative
exactly what is happening as he views your screen. Then he can tell you
what to do (via the Chat window) to solve your problem. It's like
having your own personal support representative sitting right next to

files on my computer without my knowledge?
No. This is a "view-only" capability. You maintain total control of
your computer, and you must give your permission first before your
Support Representative can view your screen. We do recommend that you
close any applications with private or confidential information in them
before authorizing your Support Representative to view your screen.
How can I save the Chat dialog from my
session to review later?
To save a copy of your Chat dialog, go to the File menu in the Chat box
and select Save Chat Log. A window will pop up asking where you would
like to save the file. The file will be saved as "chatlog.txt" by
default, but you can easily rename it. Finally, click Save to save the
file. After you have saved the session you can open the file and print
your Chat dialog.
Is the plug-in virus free?
Yes, the plug-in is virus-free and totally safe! The only thing it does
is enable the chat session. Some browsers automatically display a
warning dialogue box before downloading any executable file such as a
plug-in. Simply accept the download. You can feel confident using this
