how to fill a field with sequential number if window there

Postby Kerm on Tue Oct 27, 2015 8:50 am

I've just download Win Task to test the functions and see if it can help me with my work.

But I dont found the function I need:

When a certain window appear, fill a field with sequential number.

For exemple:

When that window appear first time with the text "01" it will stay "01", and the second time the window appear, the text "01" will change to "02"...

Is a command with this function availabe on Win Task? "when a window appear fill the field with sequential number" ?

Hello,

You can use ExistW function to test if a window is there or not. And to send 01, 02, and so on, you can use an index i for example and you convert the index to a string using str$(i).

If you want to do the same thing on a Web page, the function to use is ExistHTMLELement.

Let me know if you don't succeed.

Best regards.
