How to throw an error programmatically

Postby Betty on Fri Oct 10, 2014 8:30 am

Is there a way to throw an error in WinTask. I have a situation where I want to invoke my OnError action, but I am using ClickOnText which does not throw and error. Can I throw one myself?

Hello,

ClickOnTextOCR does not throw an error if the text to click is not found, but it returns a non-zero return code. So you can test the return code, and if not 0, programmatically (with an If block) you call the same error procedure as the one you have used in OnAction Error.

Regards.
