How to pass a variable in WriteCombo?

Postby k2014s on Mon Jun 02, 2014 12:49 pm

Hi,

In the example below the file is saved as "email1.txt":

UseWindow("OUTLOOK.EXE|FloatNotifySink|Save As|1",1)
WriteCombo("1","email1.txt")

I would like to save different files as, email1.txt, email2.txt, email3.txt, email4.txt, email5.txt, email6.txt.....email100.txt.

How can I do this? The following doesn't work:

count=1
If count<101 Then
UseWindow("OUTLOOK.EXE|FloatNotifySink|Save As|1",1)
WriteCombo("1","email"+count".txt")
count = count + 1
EndIf

thanks,
Ken

Hello,

You need to transform the integer into a string, so the syntax is:
WriteCombo("1","email"+str$(count)+".txt")

Regards.
