KillApp on a Windows 7 64bit

Postby Tosh on Wed Nov 13, 2013 9:32 am

I use wintask 3.9 (64bit) on a windows 7. The command "Killapp" seems not to work. Is there a workaround ?

Hello,

KillApp should be able to kill iexplore.exe under a 64bit window (the internet explorer 32 bits launched by StartBrowser, not IE 64bit). The syntax is:
KillApp("iexplore.exe",1)

If you don’t succeed, you can use the taskill Windows function:
lgncmde$="TaskKill /IM iexplore.exe /F"
shell(lgncmde$)

Regards.
