Populating a JDE Oracle form

Postby Carroll on Fri Oct 12, 2012 8:31 am

Hi,
I populate a JDE Oracle form with WinTask using an Excel file. Sometimes, one field is not properly filled, only the last digits are typed. The code is:
WriteHTML("INPUT TEXT[NAME= 'a_town']", data$(i))
How can I slow down?

Hello,

This happens when the field is not yet in a stable position when WriteHTML writes. You can use #HTMLPosRetry=1 to force a check that the field is in the same position after half a second. So the code would be:
#HTMLPosRetry=1
WriteHTML("INPUT TEXT[NAME= 'a_town']", data$(i))
#HTMLPosRetry=0

Come back to the default value as soon as you don't need anymore the check, like that you don't slow down the next html functions.

Regards.
