How to detect if the web page has refreshed after a Save

Postby Hamadi on Tue Aug 19, 2014 8:24 am

Hi,
I need to identify when a page refreshes. Users select from a dropdown, then click SAVE (SUBMIT button) When the Save is complete the screen refreshes (but everything on the page is exactly the same)

OR When they click SAVE, the focus is on the Save button (I assume) and when the SAVE completes, the focus is no longer on the SAVE button.

How do I identify one of these two occurrences?

Hello,

The best way is to use EnabledHTMLElement WinTask function. Spy the Save button, it will return the HTML descriptor for the SAVE button, and you use it as parameter of EnabledHTMLElement.
The you loop until the SAVE button is not anymore enabled.

Regards.
