Button using a different HTML descriptor at each replay

Postby Calum on Tue Oct 08, 2013 7:10 am

I’m trying to automate booking a courier service, the script has to type a door number and postcode, then it clicks the Find button. The problem is that this Find button generates a different HTML descriptor for each door number/postcode. And so at replay the script fails. Can I get around this problem?

Hello,

In our latest WinTask version, the 4.0, it is possible now to change the HTML descriptor. Wen you spy an html element, you will see possible HTML attributes in the HTML attributes field. Check the one which does not change at each replay and click Paste to paste it into the script.

Regards.
