WriteExcel execution error

Postby Dowell on Mon Aug 19, 2013 2:22 pm

Hi,
This line returns an execution error, what is wrong?
WriteExcel(excelfile$,"M"+str$(i+1)+":N"+str$(i+1)+":O"+str$(i+1),name$())

Hello,

The second parameter in WriteExcel is the range of cells. In your syntax, if i=3 for example, the specfied range of cells would be:
"M4:N4:O4"
which is invalid, that's why you receive an execution error.

The valid syntax is:
WriteExcel(excelfile$,"M"+str$(i+1)+":O"+str$(i+1),name$())

Regards.
