How do I use tabcell_2$() in a "for loop" and how do I read

Postby srbond on Fri Sep 18, 2015 6:17 pm

Am new to WinTask, but have experience in VB6, VBA, VB.net, etc.

I am using the code: CaptureTableHTML("TABLE[CONTENT='Sort']", "R2C1:R21C1", tabcell_2$()) to get data from a web table.

I need to parse the records in tabcell_2$() (which is the return from the table I assume) one by one to do a text compare to determine the next course of action.

Normally I would write a "for loop" using an array with string functions within. How do I use tabcell_2$() in a "for loop" and how do I read text from it?

Thanks,

Scott

Hello,
The ith element of the array is tabcell_2$(i), starting at 0 and so the loop would be:
i=0
repeat
a$=tabcell_2$(i)
msgbox(a$) 'just to test
i=i+1
until tabcell_2$(i)=""

An empty string is between double quotes double quotes.

Regards.
