Creating a moveable EXE

Postby xenodata on Tue Oct 21, 2014 9:51 pm

Hello,

I've created a running script on my machine and compiled it into a .ROB. I transferred that file and the TaskExec.exe file to another computer along with several DLL's its asking for. The program can't run the script because the browser plugins aren't installed on the other PC. Is there a way to do that without installing the whole program on various PCs?

Is there an easy way to build scripts and hand out the executables on a flash drive like this?

Thank you,
Mike

Hello,

In order to run .ROB on another PC that the one where is has been developed using the WinTask full pack, you need to install on this other PC the WinTask runtime, the runtime is a subset of the full pack, mainly without the Editor and the Compiler. We cannot produce just an exe, for example the OCR Dlls are needed for executing .ROB files.
If you need prices for the runtime, thanks to ask to info@wintask.com

Best regards.
