How to use a double quote in a string?

Postby Tosh on Tue Sep 30, 2014 8:19 am

Would you please advise me how I can use a double quote in a string in Wintask? I did not find any thing regarding that in String related functions. I would like to have the below string in command prompt:

Var$="net stop "Scheduler""
SendKeys(Var$)
Result in cmd: net stop "Scheduler"

I tried different ways but did not work ! like ^" or "" or space"

Hello,

You need to use the Ascii representation of ", which is CHR$(34). Here is the code:
Var$="net stop "+chr$(34)+"Scheduler"+chr$(34)

Regards.
