WriteEditEncrypted

The WriteEditEncrypted function sends the specified encrypted keystrokes to the specified Edit field.

Usage

Used to simulate encrypted keystrokes being typed into an Edit field.  

Syntax

ret=WriteEditEncrypted(<edit_identifier>, <encrypted_text>)

Parameters

<edit_identifier>, string, identifier of the Edit field. Use Recording mode to generate automatically the WriteEdit statement and then encrypt the text to change the WriteEdit to WriteEditEncrypted.

<encrypted_text>, string, encrypted text to type into the Edit field.

Return value

ret, optional numeric return value. If the function succeeds, the return value is 0. If the function fails, the return value is a nonzero value (see Window Functions Error Codes).

Remarks

To encrypt the text you want to send in the edit field, use Insert/Encrypted string menu option in WinTask x64 Editor window or Encrypt function.
