Scripts can use two Character Encoding system, ANSI or Unicode.
- ANSI: the ANSI format uses one byte per character. It is the default one and covers Western languages.
- Unicode: the Unicode format uses two bytes per character. It must be used for Asian languages.
To view or change the Character Encoding of a Script:
- Open the script (.SRC file) in the Editor window.
- Select File/Save as menu.
- Give a name to the script encoded differently and in Encoding field, select the desired one.
