Chr$

The Chr$ function returns a one character string for the specified ASCII code.

Usage

Used to manipulate non displayable characters. A "carriage return" (CR) is CHR$(13), a "line feed" is CHR$(10), a double quote is CHR$(34).

Syntax

var$=Chr$(<ascii_code>)

Parameter

<ascii_code>, integer between 0 and 255. If an invalid value is passed, the script stops at execution with a runtime error. 

Return value

var$, string, one character string for the <ascii_code>. If the function fails, the return value is an empty string.
